Our Mission
Founded in 1989, Active4All is a 503c non-profit partner of Evergreen Parks & Recreation District.
Active 4 All is the charitable partner of Evergreen Park and Recreation District. A4A strives to mobilize public support and financial resources for the improvement of parks and recreational opportunities for all members of our Evergreen mountain community.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation, and all contributions are 100% tax deductible.

Board Members
Dr. John DuRussel, President
Dr. John DuRussel and his wife Lindsay spend as much of their free time in the great outdoors as possible. John is the proud owner of Evergreen Orthodontic Specialists (Regan Orthodontics) and enjoys helping Evergreen smile. He and Lindsay also enjoy gardening, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and climbing. Having grown up in a small Michigan farm town with a great sense of community John is eager to carry the torch in supporting our mountain community and participating in our many great community activities.
Eric Trindl
Eric Trindl has lived in Evergreen since 2002. He's been an A4A board member for the last two and was part of two EPRD citizen committees.
A painting contractor since 1987 He's a daily user of EPRD facilities.
Trevor Noel
Trevor, his wife Sarah and two daughters Iris and Edith have lived in Evergreen since 2017. Originally from the cornfields of Indiana, he moved to Denver in 2008, Brooklyn, NY in 2014, and back to Colorado in 2016. He and his family are happy to call Evergreen home.
Trevor runs a local adventure company and all of the trails in our mountain community. He’s committed to living an active lifestyle and partnering with other community members to further A4A’s cause.
Alan Gionet, Vice President
Alan Gionet is a news anchor and reporter with CBS4 in Denver.
He is a longtime Evergreen resident and a frequent user of recreation centers and the lake in the winter where he’s often on the ice.
Alan has been part of the Lake Plunge since the start and serves as emcee each year.
Deborah Kelley, Vice President
Deb joined A4A in 2017. She brings fundraising and event management experience to the group. Deb also has been a past member for recreational boards. Her family has lived in Evergreen for 8 years.
Michele Vanags:
Michele Vanags is a longtime State Farm Insurance agent in Evergreen. She is an Evergreen resident, Chamber of Commerce member and parent. She has been a strong supporter of all of Evergreen’s PTAs, including The Bergens, Wilmot, EMS and EHS as well as RMAE. Her family makes regular use of Rec District facilities and programs and she and her business have been longtime financial supporters of the INSPIRE program.”
Brooke Bemis, Secretary
Brooke Bemis is a Physical Therapist at Rocky Mountain Sport and Spine here in Evergreen. Originally from the mountains of Idaho, she has a deep appreciation for sense of community and easy access to outdoor recreation. New to the family of Evergreen, she is eager to help maintain what makes it such a great place to live.
